Fiscal & Budget Analyst
Direct Hire | $80,000/year - $90,000/year
Are you an experienced finance / audit / compliance professional with a background in fiscal compliance, auditing or grant-funded programs? We are seeking a Fiscal & Budget Analyst to help ensure financial accountability, regulatory compliance, and accurate reporting.
What You'll Do
- Conduct fiscal monitoring reviews and audits of funded programs.
- Analyze budgets, expenditures, and financial reports for compliance.
- Perform budget-to-actual variance analysis and identify discrepancies.
- Interpret fiscal regulations, cost principles, and funding requirements.
- Review financial documentation and prepare monitoring reports.
- Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
- Support corrective action planning and ongoing compliance initiatives.
- Utilize Excel and other reporting tools to analyze financial data.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of in fiscal, audit, compliance, or accounting experience.
- Experience with fiscal audits, monitoring, compliance reviews, or grant-funded programs.
- Strong understanding of fiscal regulations, cost principles, and reporting requirements.
- Proficiency with MS Excel; experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must reside within 100 miles of the San Fernando Valley.
