Fiscal & Budget Analyst

Direct Hire | $80,000/year - $90,000/year

Are you an experienced finance / audit / compliance professional with a background in fiscal compliance, auditing or grant-funded programs? We are seeking a Fiscal & Budget Analyst to help ensure financial accountability, regulatory compliance, and accurate reporting.

What You'll Do

• Conduct fiscal monitoring reviews and audits of funded programs.
• Analyze budgets, expenditures, and financial reports for compliance.
• Perform budget-to-actual variance analysis and identify discrepancies.
• Interpret fiscal regulations, cost principles, and funding requirements.
• Review financial documentation and prepare monitoring reports.
• Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
• Support corrective action planning and ongoing compliance initiatives.
• Utilize Excel and other reporting tools to analyze financial data.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of in fiscal, audit, compliance, or accounting experience.
• Experience with fiscal audits, monitoring, compliance reviews, or grant-funded programs.
• Strong understanding of fiscal regulations, cost principles, and reporting requirements.
• Proficiency with MS Excel; experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must reside within 100 miles of the San Fernando Valley.
